When I was living in the UK I had a little veg patch where I grew butternut and rocket and tomatoes. I loved it! A year after moving to South Africa I decided that it was time to embrace the endless sunshine and try my hand at a small veg patch here. It is very small but it’s a start! The yellow flowers will hopefully be turning into cucumbers and the lovely gem of a strawberry was picked and demolished by my older son yesterday. It smelt delicious!!
