I’m not too sure who this book belonged to originally but it feels as if my brother and I always had it. It was pulled out a while ago when my parents were moving and and after much debate between my brother and I it was decided that I would keep it now for my boys and when my brother has sprogs I will give it to him….that’s the plan anyway!
I love the illustrations and also the awesome detailed cross view images of the inside of ocean liners and planes. Out of print now and a treasure in my home. What Makes it Go? was published by Hamlyn in 1972.
I had that book too! Also loved it!!
This was my absolute favourite book as a boy – lovely to see pages again!
Isn’t it great? My brother and I were at logger heads over who was going to ‘look after’ it!
OOh thankyou! I have been looking everwhere for the details of this book. I didn’t realise the pictures were so old school! yay!
